Siben & Siben, LLP., was founded in 1934 by Sidney R. Siben after his graduation from New York University School of Law.  Upon graduation from Brooklyn Law School, his brother, Walter, joined him in his office in Central Islip.  After both Sidney and Walter were discharged from the Army, after World War II, they moved the office to Third Avenue in Bay Shore.  When the firm outgrew the space on Third Avenue they relocated to our present location in 1964.  Also in 1964 Sidney’s son, Stephen, graduated from New York Law School  and joined his uncles and cousin in the family practice.  Andrew Siben graduated from Hofstra Law School in 1985 and went on to join his family in this growing firm.  Sidney’s grandson, Mark Rudner, graduated from Touro Law School in 1990, and became the third generation to join the firm.  Desirous of a second career, Jacqueline, Sidney’s daughter, attended her Uncle Walter’s alma mater, Brooklyn Law School.  She graduated in 1993 and joined the firm as its first female partner.  Through the efforts of the Sibens and their staff of approximately one hundred eighty, this law firm has grown to be the largest, and one of the oldest in Suffolk County.
